2010 March 6: MO Bradley & Springfield: Controlled Burn out of Mark Twain National Forest

  A prescribed burn in the Mark Twain National Forest near Bradleyville could have an effect on air quality in Springfield. A spokeswoman for the Greene County Health Department says fine particulate in the smoke plume could cause unhealthy air for several hours through this evening. Folks with heart and lung problems need to be aware and reduce exposure as much as possible through Saturday afternoon.
