Do the rest of us get lower power rates? Really? I recieve my bill from WPS Not WE out of Milwaukee. I would at least get my facts straight before I would write a letter to the editor complaining about not receiving the facts. And to address the description of "SARDINES" I was also there & there were alot of interested, concerned people but the room was NOT over capicity!!! If it was the meeting would have been moved to a larger location. Just goes to show you that people will complain either way! Too many people or not enough. I guess they just had views unlike yours so they were wrong???

Replying to beehonest50:

1. This incinerator is across the street from a school. Bad location to begin with!

2. At what cost? PM2.5 will go from 20 tons to 37 tons- check this site out
http://www.catf.us/publications/reports/Children_at_Risk.pdf

3. Benefits:
WE Energies- 76 million in Federal tax money
Domtar- 8 million saved each year
Rothschild $100,000 a year

Costs:
Rothschild- we pay for the roads
DCE, Weston, Rothschild- health costs from 46 tons of particulate matter- hits children and elderly the most.
Everyone- we get to pay for this project with our tax money
Property values will go down- who will want to live by an incinerator?

People or profits? WE energies wants this to diversify their portfolio. WE energies says there is no shortage of energy.

Call Rothschild and tell them no
