2010 April 13: OK Oklahoma City: WILDFIRES PROMPT AIR QUALITY ALERT

(Oklahoma City, OK) — The State Department of Environmental Quality has issued an Air Quality Health Advisory for much of eastern Oklahoma. Fine particulate matter is the concern brought on by scattered wildfires over the area. People sensitive to such air quality conditions are advised to limit outdoor activity in an area that includes Tulsa. Smoky, hazy conditions are expected to improve during the day.
